Employment Sought/Offered
We'd like to try to set up a new area of the site where alumni can note job offerings. We haven't quite figured out how to do this yet, but for right now, this will be our anchor post (always available via the left-hand nav), and if you have a job posting to share and/or are looking for a job, click Comments and include your notes there.
Hello this is Rose.now I am looking for any kind of job. Please advise if anyone can offer any ideas or suggestions me for job opportunities.

Hi, I'm Sue Long, Notre Dame class of 1991. I just moved to London and am looking for either full-time or short-term contract work. I have 15 years of experience working in federal and NYC government, primarily related to oversight of construction and development in NYC. And I have a UK Tier 1 visa to work here.
Would love to talk to anyone who is in a related field. Thanks!

Hello- My name is Katherine Romero ('03 grad), and my husband was selected to a Fellowship in London starting this summer.
To support him in this great endeavor, I need to find a job there. I currently am a Private Banker in JP Morgan's Private Wealth Management group, and I got my MBA from Kellogg in '06.
I would love to find any gainful employment in the banking sector or the non-profit fundraising sector. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much!

Hi All,
Im in the Notre Dame MBA program and am strictly looking for employment in the UK, preferably London. My studies are in marketing and advertising and would like to pursue a career within that market. Please advise if anyone can offer any ideas or suggestions.
I do need a work visa, and therein the problem lies, as several companies wont even accept my application without work authorization.
Thanks in advance.
Cheers!
Heather

This is Hannah Gornik ('05), the current ND Club of London secretary. I've been here in London working for a charity for the last two years, and now I'm looking for another job here. My degree is in Psychology, bt I've worked in a helpdesk and as a software tester, so I'm looking mostly in the IT industry. I do need a work permit, but I'm happy to sort out a solicitor to do all the paperwork if I get an offer... and of course I'll continue to work with the ND Club if I stay! If you can help with any advice or opportunities please contact me on joyofthejourney[at]aol.com

Hey! My name's Kelly, and I just spent a semester in London last spring, after which I've become fixed upon returning there post-graduation in May 2007. As a PLS major and radio executive [WVFI], my interests and abilities are quite diverse. I would eventually like to get into print media, though for right now I am just looking for any kind of workplace experience. If you have a lead on internship or job opportunities for recent grads - in any relevant field - please do get in touch!
Cheers and Go Irish!

Hi, I am an ND law student set to graduate in May 2007. I spent last year in the London 2L program and want to return to London after graduation. Searching for a job internationally is difficult, to say the least. If there are any ND law alums out there or ND alums who know attorneys working in London, any advice/tips about the job search would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for your help.
Aloha,
Jaime

I did a traineeship at the European Commission in their Humanitarian Aid Dept (ECHO). I worked for the head of the finance unit. My main project was compiling audit reports of 250 or so NGOs funded by the EC DG ECHO, into a main summary. You can find on their website the entire list of FPA partners (Framework Partnership Agreements) which gives you a great idea of who's who in the humanitarian aid world (the biggest players). There are also "thematic partners" which you can read more about at: http://ec.europa.eu/echo/evaluation/partners_en.htm . These are the international orgs.
A very nice list of Intl Dev Consultants:

Good luck!
